Key Input Lab
Privacy Policy
How Key Input Lab handles tool input and analytics data.
Last updated: October 26, 2026.
Tool data stays local
Key presses, key labels, event logs, modifier combinations, scroll deltas, click coordinates and test results are processed locally in your browser. Key Input Lab does not upload or store that tool data on its own servers.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics counts page views and provides general usage information. Key Input Lab does not intentionally send key presses, event-log contents, scroll values, click coordinates or test results to Google Analytics.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity records interactions such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Strict text masking is enabled so text shown on the page, including key labels and results, is masked in recordings.
Third-party services
Analytics providers may process browser type, device information, approximate location, page URL and referrer according to their own policies. Directory badges may load assets from and link to third-party websites.
